JOURNEES SOCIALES DU CEPAS 2018, du lundi 12 au mercredi 14 mars :

JOUR 1 : plus de 180 participants ont pris part aux deux conférences

« LE CITOYEN ET LA JUSTICE », tel était le thème général autour duquel étaient axées toutes les conférences de l’édition 2018 des Journées Sociales du CEPAS.

Que retenir du Jour 1 ?

            Tout a commencé à 9h15 par l’hymne national suivi de la prière d’ouverture dite par le Père Jean Nyembo. Le Directeur du CEPAS, le Père Alain Nzadi, a ensuite prononcé le discours d’ouverture et déclaré officiellement ouvertes les Journées Sociales édition 2018.

            Avant de clôturer la première partie du programme et de prendre la traditionnelle photo de famille, le Père Emmanuel Bueya, modérateur général des Journées et responsable du secteur Recherche et animation sociopolitique du CEPAS, a donné des indications pratiques concernant la démarche de ces trois jours de réflexion.

            Deux conférences, suivies d’échanges en ateliers et de mises en commun, ont ponctué ce premier jour.

            Le Cardinal Laurent Monsengwo s’est appesanti sur la question de l’Eglise face à l’état dans la promotion de la Justice. Tout en reconnaissant les relations parfois tendues qui peuvent exister entre les deux entités (Eglise et Etat) dans la promotion de la justice, il a émis le souhait de recourir à la charité comme valeur pouvant aider à enrayer les craintes et les préjugés dans la poursuite de la justice.

            Le Professeur Jacques Djoli, pour sa part, a réfléchi sur la cour constitutionnelle face au souverain primaire. Tout en vilipendant le fonctionnement actuel de cette institution capitale de l’Etat, il a invité le souverain primaire, le peuple, à s’approprier les articles de la Constitution qui lui octroient le droit de défendre la démocratie ainsi bafouée.

"THE CITIZEN AND JUSTICE", such was the general theme on which all the conferences of the 2018 edition of the CEPAS Social Days  focused.

What can we say about Day 1 ?

            It all started at 9:15 with the national anthem followed by the opening prayer said by Father Jean Nyembo. The Director of CEPAS, Father Alain Nzadi, then delivered the opening address and declared officially open the Social Days edition 2018.

Before closing the first part of the program and taking the traditional family photo, Father Emmanuel Bueya, general moderator of the Social Days and head of the research and socio-political animation sector of CEPAS, gave practical indications concerning the approach of these three days of reflection.

            Two conferences, followed by workshop discussions and pooling, punctuated this first day.

            Cardinal Laurent Monsengwo dwelt on the question of the Church and the state in the promotion of justice. While recognizing the sometimes strained relations that can exist between the two entities (Church and State) in the promotion of justice, he expressed the wish to resort to charity as a value that could help to stop fears and prejudices in the pursuit of justice.

            Professor Jacques Djoli, for his part, reflected on the constitutional court vis-à-vis the primary sovereign, the people. While vilifying the current functioning of this key institution of the State, he invited the primary sovereign, the people, to appropriate the articles of the Constitution which grant them the right to defend the democracy thus flouted.
